Painting...

Dear hubby started painting that dreaded living room/school room/office space a few days ago...as predicted, I hated the color. It was way to light for my liking. What the heck is up with all the color chips anyway...they never look as good on the wall as they do on the sample...you really do have to bring home about a hundred samples and tape them on the wall to get a good feel of the "true" color.

I knew if I picked the color I did, I'd wish I'd gone with the next choice...so why didn't I just go with the second choice. An interior decorator I will never be...

Anyway, the day was saved...hubby was able to have the good'ol "paint mixologist" at Lowes add a drip of this and a drop of that and voila...a smidge darker paint was made.

Guess what? I LIKE IT!
