life lessons...

You might have gathered that it was my sweet boy, a not so nice neighbors mailbox and that one, lone pinecone gently tucked inside as a silly little hidden surprise...

You might say that our Thursday evening was anything but boring...the good news is we are all okay, just a bit shaken rather ticked at the chain of events. Fortunately, this sweet boy didn't have to go to Strickland as charges were retracted.

Let me vent and say that it saddens me that "The Village" no longer exist folks...we are on our own and should no longer expect the goodness of a soft heart and loving teaching words to help mentor our children should they need them. Today, I lost respect of an adult, parent and neighbor...a REAL man would never have treated a child and his mom with such disrespect...ever!

  1. Oh my!! Poor mama! I can say that I had a similar situation happen with my sweet boy when he was a youngster. I will have to tell you about it and you will feel much better. The good thing is that now Lucas and I look back on it and laugh. :-)

  3. Oh, my...I'm so sorry! We had a similar incident with a neighbour over snowballs and moving cars. Stupid. It's really crummy that people resort to screaming obsenities at children as a way to deal with a kid's silly prank. And I was threatened with Child Protective Services. Jerkfaces.

I can imagine how horrible that must've been for you and your family. :-(
