I love stay at home days...so much so that I schedule them much like others might schedule field trips. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays are my current home days...no makeup, at home only clothes, home cooked meals (today's lunch was tacos & burritos)...sister called it a feast :~) I get some chores completed...really whatever pops up.
Our family has recently found a new passion for board games. Our new favorite is Chinese Checkers, we played few games...followed by UNO, another favorite. My oldest wanted to play Nintendo DS, the Indiana Jones Lego game...I guess I spent an hour or more whacking objects with my trusty shovel and throwing bottles (honestly I get a kick out of hearing him laugh at my antics), as I'm feeling pretty lucky that my 14 yo will still play a few games with his 'ol momma...times a flying with that kiddo!
Yep, I'm thankful for a relaxed day...next week we will begin a new 7 hour Co-Op on Mondays...followed by Robotics Monday nights and our normal fall church schedule will resume on Sunday & Wednesday nights...my at home days are limited...Falls a coming and Summer's a ending.
We were trying to remember how old Andrew was the other day. Unfortunately I am the only one in my family that likes board games. They only play with me when I bribe them with something.
