It's not really a surprise that I've not blogged lately. I thought about it, but there was simply nothing eventful to blog about. July was hot, steamy, rainy and simply mundane.
We completed VBS from June, fun.
The kids attended Art Blast camps at the Museum of Art and although they moan and groan the weeks leading up to said camps...they come away happy, fulfilled and desiring to attend again next year! As for me, I don't feel the $85 I spend per child, per week for 2 hours each day is worth it, not really. But I do feel that I'm fulfilling my motherly/homeschooling duty by "exposing" them to the Arts. Honestly, I've never been to the museum and "viewed" the arts myself...but the kids get to tour it each year with their classes. Whatever, to each his own!
That's pretty much it...had a few play dates, a mom's night out, church, volunteering, cooking, cleaning, and business as usual...yep, that's my life.
Today is the 1st day of August...so far it's rainy, steamy and hot. Oh...and I'm OUT OF COFFEE!
